Municipal animal control and humane law enforcement for Stafford Township and, by agreement, Barnegat Light, Ship Bottom, Beach Haven, Harvey Cedars and Long Beach Township. Officers are on call 24/7 for emergencies such as sick or injured animals. The township's site also lists low-cost spay/neuter clinics and New Jersey's Pet Overpopulation Control Fund.
