Free rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs at both county animal facilities. Jackson (Northern facility) holds clinics the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month; Manahawkin (Southern facility) the 2nd and 4th Wednesday. Each clinic takes 60 appointments. With proof of a prior rabies shot the vaccine is valid for 3 years; otherwise it is valid for 1 year.

- Who can use it: Cats and dogs only, up to four pets per person. Kittens must be at least 3 pounds and puppies at least 12 weeks old. Dogs on a leash with a properly fitted collar or harness; cats in a carrier.
