Good to know

  • Ways to pay: CareCredit
  • Payment policy: Funds are paid straight to your vet. A limited number of grants are available each month.
  • Who can use it: Dogs and cats whose owner lives (or studies) in Centre County or a surrounding county. Pet must be spayed or neutered, the vet must give a fair or better prognosis, and you must apply for CareCredit and have tried other resources. Not for routine care or bills already paid. Online applications are not for true emergencies.
  • How to get started: First get a vet visit and written estimate and apply for CareCredit. Then apply online at centrecountypaws.org/resources/medical-aid/dr-thomas-vet-fund/application. Your vet completes a verification form after you submit.
