Voucher program that brings the cost of spay or neuter surgery for owned dogs and cats at TLC PetSnip down to a small fixed amount for eligible low-income Polk County residents. Vaccines, tests and some extras are not included.

Hours: Surgery-day drop-off 7:30 am for dogs and 8 am for cats.
Good to know
- Who can use it: Polk County residents at or below 150% of the federal poverty level, or receiving Medicaid/Medicare, ACCESS EBT or Social Security Disability, or disabled veterans. Proof of residency and financial need must be uploaded.
- How to get started: Request an online spay/neuter appointment, write "Spay & Neuter Voucher" in the appointment notes and upload the required documents. A deposit is required for each approved appointment.
