Needs-based spay and neuter vouchers for dogs and cats, usable at Tally Spay, Animal Aid and other partner veterinarians in the Tallahassee area. Residents with proof of need pay a very small co-pay; others pay a reduced co-pay. Rabies shots, pain medication and other extras are paid to the vet.

Hours: Vouchers are distributed at The Fix Thrift Shop Tuesday and Thursday 11 am to 1 pm and Saturday noon to 3 pm.

- Who can use it: Residents of Tallahassee, Monticello, Havana, Crawfordville or Quincy; personal companion pets only. Proof-of-need vouchers require an EBT, Medicaid, unemployment or disability document, or a prior-year tax return under the program's income limits.
- How to get started: Bring a driver's license or photo ID to The Fix Thrift Shop during voucher hours. Call 850-545-2043 with questions.
