Hours: Thursday through Tuesday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; adoptions close 4:30 p.m.; closed Wednesdays and County holidays
Good to know
- Who can use it: The County says it no longer services the cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Encinitas, Santee, San Diego or Solana Beach. Those residents are directed to San Diego Humane Society.
- How to get started: Call or visit during shelter hours to adopt or ask about services.
