Spay and neuter
Low-cost spay/neuter for the public, plus free ACS-sponsored zip-code grant surgeries and feral cat surgeries.

Hours: Phone line daily 12:30pm–7:00pm; feral cat check-in Mon–Fri 7:15 am
Good to know
- Who can use it: Dogs and cats at least 8 weeks and 2 lbs; zip code grant requires proof of residency in a qualified zip code within city limits (not Leon Valley, Helotes, Castle Hills etc.), 5 per household per year; SAFCC feral grant requires SAFCC TNR class.
- How to get started: Book online (Acuity) by appointment only; payment required to schedule; appointments release one month at a time around 9am; grant users enter code ZIPFY2026.
