A no-kill, stray-based shelter that also does animal control for its service area, responding to stray, injured, sick or dangerous animals and enforcing dog laws on running at large, rabies vaccination, licensing and bites. Dogs and cats are adopted out spayed or neutered and vaccinated. It cannot quarantine animals with infectious disease; those cases go to the county humane society.
