County shelter operated and staffed by the Logan County Sheriff's Office that began operations in early 2026. Answers calls for stray dogs, dogs running at large and humane complaints, offers dogs and cats for adoption, sells county dog tags and has a retail area. Works with Logan County TNR to make some cats and kittens available for adoption. Has a veterinary room for basic health checks and vaccinations of dogs in its care and plans a surgery suite to offer low-cost spays, neuters and vaccinations to the public as the surgery schedule allows. Does not handle stray cat complaints.
