Humane euthanasia for pets whose people cannot get this service through their own veterinarian. Healthy pets are not euthanized. Dakin provides the service even if the owner cannot make a donation. After euthanasia, owners may take the pet home for burial or choose communal cremation. Owners cannot be present at the Animal Resource Center; the Pet Health Center at Dakin offers euthanasia with the owner present.
