No-kill city animal shelter and animal control department providing animal control for Muncie and unincorporated Delaware County and adoptions for all. Strays are held for three business days (four with ID) and posted on the shelter's Facebook page. MACS does not provide spay/neuter, vaccines or medical care for owned pets and does not handle live wildlife; its Resources for Pet Owners page lists low-cost options.
