Private nonprofit humane society serving Greater Lafayette since 1939 (formerly the Tippecanoe County Humane Association), with dog, cat and small animal adoptions, lost and found help, microchipping and owner surrenders by scheduled appointment as capacity allows. It always takes back pets it adopted out.

Hours: Tuesday to Friday noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday noon to 4 p.m.; closed Sunday and Monday.
