Short-term foster care of up to 90 days for owned cats whose families are going through a temporary crisis, so they can be reunited afterward. Cats get a basic exam, vaccines, disease testing and parasite control at intake. Applications close when the program is at capacity.

- Who can use it: Cats must be spayed or neutered, safe to handle, not aggressive, free of skin lesions such as ringworm, and test negative for feline leukemia. A refundable deposit and monthly care contribution apply; hardship waivers are considered case by case. Owners check in every 21 days.
- How to get started: Complete the online Crisis Care application when it is open. Staff contact eligible applicants when space is available.
