City of Cedar Rapids open-admission municipal shelter and animal control agency for lost, stray, abandoned, neglected and surrendered animals. Handles adoptions, lost and found reports, abuse investigations, rabies control and quarantine, and trap rental. Unidentified animals are held five days for owner reclaim. Owner surrenders are by appointment after surrender counseling.
