Support Quark
Remember a much-loved cat. Help with the costs of his care.
Quark was Sean’s 14-year-old tuxedo cat, an affectionate cat with a personality all his own. When he became seriously ill in 2026, Sean started a GoFundMe to help with veterinary visits, testing, medicine and specialist care. Quark has since passed away, and Sean is still paying off the cost of his care.
You can help by donating on GoFundMe, wearing some Team Quark merch, where part of every sale goes to his fundraiser, or sharing this page.
Organized by Sean Arenas, Quark’s person · Covina, California · Running since August 2026

Quark’s story
Even during his illness, Quark sometimes purred, checked on the other cats, and found a little energy to remind them who was in charge. Sean spent days beside him, helping him eat and drink.
At 14, Quark became increasingly weak and lost his appetite and coordination. After repeated veterinary visits and supportive care, he was referred to a neurologist to find out what was happening. His GoFundMe, “Help Quark Get Neurology Care,” began then.
Quark has since passed away. This fundraiser remembers him and helps cover his care and aftercare costs. Looking for help with his bills is also how Help My Pet started.
What your support goes toward
- Repaying the loan for Quark’s MRI and hospitalization
- Hospital stays, vet visits and medicine already paid
