Pufi is a 9-year-old Maltese in Linz, Austria, and Fabi’s best friend. He tore the cruciate ligament in his knee, and an ultrasound at his vet confirmed he needs surgery. Until he has it, he’s in pain every day.
The operation costs about €3,000 (around $3,250). Fabi is covering half himself and raising the other €1,500 on GoFundMe. His vet says the surgery needs to happen within the next three weeks, or Pufi could lose the use of that leg.
