Support Oliver Mittens
A fluffy tabby with white mittens, a surprise vet bill, and a family who loves him.
Oliver Mittens is a long-haired tabby with a white bib and four white paws, which is where the Mittens comes from. One night he skipped dinner and spent the whole night under the couch, neither of which is like him. The next morning he growled when he was picked up, so his family knew he was hurting and took him straight to the vet.
It turned out to be a ruptured anal gland. The vet cleaned it out, ran a blood panel and sent him home with pain medicine and antibiotics. He should be back to normal in a couple of weeks. The visit came to about $500, and that’s what this page is helping with.
Organized by his family, with help from Help My Pet.

Getting back to his usual self
For the next couple of weeks, Oliver’s job is to rest, take his medicine and heal. His job after that is getting back to what he does best: claiming every box, bag and toy in the house as his own.
Where things stand
Just getting started. Oliver’s page is brand new, and we’ll post a running total here as support comes in.
